Canada to Trinidad and back
Born in Canada with strong Caribbean roots, Karella traded a career as a Chemical Technologist for a new life in Trinidad and Tobago, where she pursued her dreams in Sound Recording and Engineering, graduating at the top of her class. With a flair for writing and producing, she has crafted songs for herself and various Caribbean artists, while showcasing her talent in hotels, resorts, and casinos.

Embracing her alter ego, DJ Diamond, Karella has rocked stages both locally and internationally, spinning an eclectic mix of genres while specializing in Soca to celebrate her rich cultural heritage.
All stages
In 2017, Karella made her musical theatre debut at Jubilations/Celebrations Dinner Theatre, touring across Canada and further expanding her artistic repertoire.
Anthems
For 5 seasons, she was been the anthem singer for the Edmonton Elks, and performing anthems for government officials, Canadian Citizenship ceremonies, the Toronto Raptors, and hometown favourites Edmonton Oilers.
